TURN YOUR DESTINY IN ADVERSITY

Once a gentle pregnant doe,

Went to give birth by a river so,

She hoped to bring forth her fawn,

Next to the river's soft marshy lawn.

When the doe reached her venue,

The sky suddenly changed to a sinister hue,

Dark clouds burst with loud thunder!

Lightning shook the ground under!

The doe was not one to deter,

And in her resolve, she did not stir!

In painful labour, just when she was ready to deliver,

The doe saw an arrow pointed at her!

A gruesome hunter aimed his gaze,

And before she could move lightning struck, setting the forest ablaze!

The doe, so close to the flames of fire,

Saw the river burn as it reflected the forest's fiery attire!

Just when she thought she had, had enough in her inability to scur,

The genteel doe saw a lion menacingly charging towards her!

Submitting herself to Divine Fate with valour,

The doe decided to forth her fawn with strength and honour.

On one side was a lion charging,

On the other hand, a hunter aiming,

The gushing river in the front,

Behind her the forest burnt!

Danger looming on her every side

The poor pregnant doe could neither run nor hide,

With a silent prayer in the heart,

She bore the delivery and did her part.

"Que sera sera" without any fear,

To peacefully birth her baby fawn, prayed the Mother deer,

Her resolve tormented the Gods and Spirits,

And so they showered rain in torrential fits!

It doused the fire, moving dark clouds away

, To welcome a new life and a bright new day!

Mother Doe beamed with joy,

Seeing her fawn baby boy!

Smiling, Mother and child went into a sweet slumber,

After their enduring encumber!

Need I say more, for one doe who made the heavens cry,

And still you ask what happened and why?

Now read on with focus and concentration,

How fate helps those with determination,

Miracles and magic have no measure,

In changing a believer's plight to pleasure!

When the gruesome hunter aimed his arrow,

He maimed the lion with a missed blow,

Blinded by the sudden stroke of lightning he fell,

When the Gods intervene, there isn't much to tell!

Seeing the brave deer's courage,

The Entire Universe united to support & brace

Her, from Nature's wild fury,

Easing the way for her smooth delivery!

Life is a mystery & those who seek,

Are showered with blessings unique,

What is fated will be, but never lose courage in adversity

The brave deer teaches us to face our destiny!
