My dad, my hero beyond the sky
On angel wings you fly
In life you work your hands to the bone
To make our house a home
You were always there and see the best in me
You were author of my life
A million days have pass us by
I still feel your gentle hand restrain
As we slide across the dance floor
I remember the last time I saw you
In a coma on the hospital bed
If i knew that would be our last time together
I would have never let you go
Your face, time could not erase
Emptiness and pain I still face
If i was afraid in your arms I could take cover
Your home is now in heaven
The day God call
I never had a chance to say goodbye
Cause heaven needed a hero, one like you
