The sun the only kiss on her face
The moon must have held her in its embrace
The sky surrounded her like beautiful lace and the wind inspired her amazing grace
Her skin was golden like wheat
and her lips glistened like a candied apple treat
She moved as if she was among the clouds
and her hair spun about her like a dark shroud
She danced the way flames do
Almost as if she knew
She performed as if she commanded a standing ovation
for she must have been the wind’s muse of inspiration
As she delighted in her own elation dancing as if she was meant to inspire all of creation
She continued on almost in flight not know she had captured his sight
With a sudden drop she fell to the ground
Her little body not making a sound
She tucked her feet up under her tight
Looking into the distance as if something caught her sight
Without warning she began to cry
And he wanted to know why
That this beauty so full of grace would have tears streaming down her delicate face
He watched her as the tears continued on wetting her face like the dew of the dawn
His strong arms he longed to loan
To this beauty whose pain he felt as if it were his own
This girl with a beauty so rare he knew in could only radiate from within ..
This brilliant girl who danced with the wind
Who was she, he had never seen beauty so bright
It could’ve changed the darkness with its light
This strange beauty with such pain deep inside that which she gave no attempt to hide
Who was this odd creature who he had memorized her every feature from her piercing eyes
that were soaked from her silent cries to those lips that looked as if they knew no lies
He had no knowledge of who she could be
Just an urgency to make his plea
He knew nothing of this girl with the radiant glow
And this smoothness that did effortlessly flow
From her body with an ease
That he knew she existed as she and did as she pleased
He knew to her his will he would bend
If only he could belong to the girl who danced with the wind
