There's nothing more precious
than diamonds, they say
I beg to differ as I ponder the day day....
The most precious things are not moulded with gold
They are crafted with love and
tales untold.
~
Those sweet silver linings make still, my blue heart
As hope flows so freely as grey clouds depart.
The gospel is found in the lines in-between
Through rose-coloured glasses the truth can't be seen…
~
Sweet silver linings brighten my mood
Like rainbows and roses, or blackberries stewed!
Whenever you're lonely, left out in the cold
Remember your life is a Legend foretold.
~
Those sweet silver linings appear everywhere
When kindness and love are free-heartedly shared
You are treasured by those whose love is secure
And by 'He' that remembers the lost and obscure.
