rain your soul's librettos down
from gossamer clouds to gift
losing your eyes of Lapis Lazuli
beneath chills that spell
my spirit core, and channel
agapē that it swallows all
euphony unworthy.
create new holes in me to
ache for you there, nesting
in a moment's sacred passing
even when my heart beats still.
you, my love, in limbo
between both worlds
need no Moon to balance
those etched mosaics of
your Dove-soft fingers
weaving Chiffon in the zephyr ~
stringing together literary pearls
to peel prophetic layers from the
skyseat of benevolent starlights.
I, who held you fragile
like precious Saffron
a mangled leaf ensnared
in a vicious storm, ripped from
mother tree.
my passion shall forever lay
in sweet depths of tear-dust kiss
where no Ocean dreams could
love you better in their drowning!!!
darling, something else
out there has lungs.
come ~
allow the words to my
lullaby to lull in your ear
as much as you and I,
together always, can breathe
them into Eternity's breath.
its whisper . . .
