Can you see the elegance of the leafless tree?
It’s standing tall and straight as it can be.
Untroubled of what others would comment or say.
With boldness it faces the
seasons as they change invincibly.
Do you wish to be like the leafless tree?
When its pretty leaves fade, it still stands carefree.
Even if sometimes someone calls it scary or ugly.
Still, its open bare arms stretch out in the air confidently.
Would you like to be a leafless tree for a day?
Let’s see if you could still stand tall with no leaves to display.
I’m curious if you would embrace the earth on its given array.
If someone called you pretty or scary, I wonder what would you say?
To be like the leafless tree is part of our phase.
Because our life also struggles with endless change.
I hope when the weather appears that does not align with our plans,
We could be like the leafless tree that carries itself bravely and confidently stands.
