To pen good poetry
you must open your mind
to possibilities,
and develop skills that
test your abilities.
To pen good poetry
use expressive language
adopt proper grammar
and try to be subtle;
no need for a hammer.
To pen good poetry
include unwritten words
that fall between the lines,
exposing emotions
by revealing their signs.
To pen good poetry
find the muse in your heart;
poetry flows from there
influencing others
through the feelings you share.
