I WASN’T LOOKING FOR LOVE

Attraction that I can’t explain, emotion I’ve never felt before.

The second that I saw you, you made my heartbeat soar.

Now every single day and night, I search for visions of only you.

When we are apart from one another, and my heart is sombre blue.

I wasn’t looking for love, but your scent caught the breeze.

Now I’m catching my breath, every time that you leave.

When distance divides us, you race through my mind.

Can no longer live without you, now our paths have entwined.

You’re my every waking moment and every sound upon my lips.

The warmth deep within my core like a solar eclipse.

I wasn’t looking for love, but your scent caught the breeze.

Now I’m catching my breath, every time that you leave.

Like a ray of light, it hit me, unforeseen, without a warning.

Now ever day’s a wonder as I rise each bring new morning.

Life is now a forever song; I no longer need to dream.

Me and you and you and I, we make the perfect team.

I wasn’t looking for love, but your scent caught the breeze.

Now I’m catching my breath, every time that you leave.

I’ll always be catching my breath, every time that you leave.
