I Am a Heartbroken Girl

Always seeking my father's opinion,

But he sees me as a burden,

Not that I use my shortcomings to excuse myself for what has been said.

I was a child, and he loved me,

But when I reached adulthood,

His love turned into social norms,

A rigid and distant attitude.

The beloved father is no more,

But he is of the law alone,

No matter how happy I am, what I have accomplished,

My heart hurts, it’s like a tool.

He does not celebrate with me,

He did not like to travel,

Introducing me to friends,

His character is like war.

My heart is broken,

By lack of love,

Rejection and indifference,

I was left unworthy.

I long for the love of my Father,

But it seems like a distant dream,

I was just a burden,

In his eyes, I am not a member of his group.

Broken and lonely,

I long to embrace him,

But he seems to have left me,

Leaving me in this empty place.

I am a heartbroken girl,

Thirsting for the love of my Father,

But it seems like a distant dream,

I was just a burden,

In his eyes, I am not a member of his group.

broken and lonely,

I long to embrace him,

But he seems to have left me,

Leave me in this empty place.

I am a heartbroken girl,.

the father's thirst for love,

But it broke my heart,

I felt like I wasn’t enough.
