As dusk descends, the sun's fiery gaze recedes,
Behind the veil of skeletal trees it bleeds.
A crimson tide, a farewell kiss of light,
Bathing the world in hues of amber and night.
Leafless sentinels stand in solemn grace,
Their boughs reaching towards the sky's embrace.
Silhouettes against the dying ember's glow,
They whisper secrets only shadows know.
In this twilight realm, where silence reigns supreme,
My soul unravels like a forgotten dream.
Confessions whispered to the fading day,
Lost in the symphony of twilight's sway.
Each breath a sigh, each heartbeat a lament,
Amidst the fading light, I find solace, content.
For in the dusk's embrace, I am set free,
A poet's heart, bound to eternity.
