I’d Have A Hard Time Believing Me Too   Sometimes when I’m telling my life stories People look at me and give me quite a glare I guess they don’t believe what I’m saying And I guess I understand them, to be fair   If I hadn’t lived the life that I’ve been living If I hadn’t been through the things that I’ve been through If I hadn’t walked the steps that I have walked in Then I guess I’d have a hard time believing me too   I love to tell the stories of my adventures Stories that send shivers up and down your spine Stories of some good times and some hard times By that look, you’re giving me you may think I am lyin’   If I hadn’t lived the life that I’ve been living If I hadn’t been through the things that I’ve been through If I hadn’t walked the steps that I have walked in Then I guess I’d have a hard time believing me too   I’ve heard it said that life is stranger than fiction And when it comes to mine I guess that it is true Now you may not believe the stories that I’m telling And in the end, I guess that’s all left up to you   If I hadn’t lived the life that I’ve been living If I hadn’t been through the things that I’ve been through If I hadn’t walked the steps that I have walked in Then I guess I’d have a hard time believing me too ©2023  RJH
